AK Hockey Joins the Arizona Titans!
The Arizona Titans are excited to announce that Aaron Konecsni and his team from AK Hockey will serve as the organization’s Official Skating & Skills Instructors for the upcoming season.
Following a successful collaboration last year, AK Hockey will continue working closely with Titans players and coaches to elevate both skating performance and overall skill development across all levels of the organization.
“We’re very excited to continue building our relationship with the Titans,” said Konecsni. “Skating is a critical foundation, but complete player development goes beyond that passing, shooting, checking, and overall game execution are just as important. Our goal is to work closely with each team’s coaches to develop the right approach for their players and support the vision of the organization.”
AK Hockey’s involvement will focus on a comprehensive development model, starting with posture and fundamentals progressing to:
• Skating technique improving forward and backwards stride length, first few explosive steps, transitions, lateral movement, evasive moves and edge control.
• Precision Passing, Shooting to Score, and Dynamic 360 puck control and protection.
• Game-relevant skill integration
• Physical play and body contact fundamentals
• Team-specific development aligned with coaching staff goals
Aaron and his team will collaborate directly with Titans leadership, including Director of Hockey Operations Oliver Gagnon to ensure each program aligns with the organization’s standards and long term development vision.
As part of this collaboration , AK Hockey will also introduce additional staff members, including Aaron’s son, Rylan Konecsni, bringing a high-energy, modern approach to player development both on and off the ice.
