Jeff Tecca

Coach Tecca is originally from Los Angeles California and moved to Anchorage, Alaska at the age of 5 and started his youth goaltending shortly their after. Jeff was a standout net-minder in Anchorage, Alaska for 13 years where in he won a State Championship with Dimond High School and received Rookie of the Year honors, and two years later West Anchorage High School to a State Championship Title.

In 1989 and 1990 Jeff led the Alaska All Stars U18AAA, winning two Western Regional Titles and two trips to the USA Hockey U18 AAA National Championship Tournament. From 1990 to 1993 Jeff played with various Jr. A teams in the NAHL and IJHL. and finished his Jr. A career with the Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL. In 1993 Jeff made his professional debut when he was invited to the main training camp of the IHL San Diego Gulls. In 1994 after a second main camp with the Gulls coach Tecca played with the Bakersfield Oilers of the WCHL and later that summer signed with the Sacramento River Rats (RHI).

In 1995 Jeff was invited to Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center to tryout for Team USA's Inline National Team and later signed with the team and won a gold medal in the IIHF World Championships. In 1996, coach Tecca finished his pro career with Phoenix Desert Rats of the CIHL (inline).

In 1996, Jeff started Tecca Goalie School, now Tecca Goaltending which he has owned and operated for the last 25 years in Phoenix, Arizona. Jeff works with some of the Valley's top goaltenders including several goalies that have moved on to Jr. A and the NCAA Div 1 level. He also works with goaltenders from all over the US and Canada that fly in and train with him, coach Tecca has 3 Arizona goalies that have been drafted to the USHL and is currently working  with several NCAA Div 1 and Div III as well as two NCAA Div 1 commits, Air Force and Arizona State. Jeff's goalies have won four National Championships, VOSHA Mustangs Tier II AA, U16 Silver Stick Internationals, ASU ACHA Div 1 and NAHL. Jeff was also was the goalie coach for the Nationally ranked Arizona State Sun Devil's Men's ACHA Div 1 Hockey Program from 2011-2015 where he helped shape his first starting goaltender into an ACHA All-American and helped him sign a professional contract with the Allen Americans (CHL). Coach Tecca is currently the Director of Goaltending for the VOSHA Arizona Titans.
